Alisha Poe is a passionate dancer, teacher, and choreographer dedicated to sharing her love of dance with students of all ages and abilities. Specializing in Musical Theatre, she also teaches ballet, jazz, contemporary, lyrical, and stretch and conditioning. Since discovering dance at the age of 11, Alisha knew she had found her passion and has been committed to growing as both an artist and educator ever since.

For nearly a decade, Alisha has taught at her home studio in Illinois, where she currently serves as Studio Manager. She has worked with dancers of every age, level, and experience. From first-time preschool dancers to competitive performers. She is passionate about creating a positive, encouraging environment where students build confidence, strong technique, and a lifelong love of dance.

In addition to teaching, Alisha has choreographed and directed multiple children's theatre productions and created countless recital and competitive routines. She has also worked for several dance competition companies as a backstage crew member and tabulator, giving her valuable experience both on and behind the stage. Her teaching experience also includes a private charter school in the St. Louis area and working with dance teams at several schools throughout Southern Illinois.

While Alisha enjoys training and teaching a variety of styles, contemporary is her favorite to perform, with jazz as a close second. She is excited to continue growing as a dancer and teacher this upcoming season and looks forward to inspiring the next generation of dancers!
