Olivia Evans started her dance career at the age of 3 at the Creative Dance Studio, Alton IL, under the instruction of Rachel Brady. There she had training in ballet, tap, jazz, hip hop, modern, and pointe. She later continued her training into college at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), where she majored in dance and earned her BA in dance in May 2025.

During her time at SIUE, she was involved in the fall Dance in Concerts (2021-2024), where she got to perform works from faculty and guest artists, UDO Student Dance Concerts (2022-2025), where she got to showcase her own pieces, and the American College Dance Association (ACDA). She was also a part of the SIUE University Dance Company where she got other opportunities to perform within the community. She was involved in the University Dance Organization as an active member, treasurer, and most recently the president.

Currently, she is a dance teacher at Alton Academy of Dance where she teaches ballet, pointe, leaps and turns, and contemporary. Recently, she was an apprentice with Leverage Dance Theater and performed alongside their recent work "Refractions of Being". This fall, she plans to get her certification in Autism Movement Therapy and start teaching her own adaptive dance class for children with special needs.
