Tony Marr is a University of Missouri of St. Louis grad with a Bachelors of arts in Theater and dance and a St. Louis Community College grad with a Associates of Applied Science degree in marketing. Producer/director credits include two original award winning plays with the STL Fringe festival. The names of said works are Time for A Change and Pain. As a dancer/choreographer he has performed in dance concerts with Consuming Kinetics Dance Company (PACK Dance) and choreographed solo dances for various theater shows in the Saint Louis area as well as choreographed New Line theaters world premiere Johhny Appleweed Holly Rollin Christmas, Sweet potato queens, and Dracula the musical. Select theater credits include the role of (Winston) in 1984, (Tinman) in the Wiz, (Scottie) with JPEK theater’s production of Real Life HIP HOPERA, performed voice over work with various commercial projects in the STL area, an ensemble member in Stray Dog’s production of Dreamgirls, and has worked with many other theater company’s around the area including TLT productions, STL Fringe, A Call to conscious, Because Why Not Theater Company, and gifted productions. Lastly, as a children’s theater performer, he has performed as the tooth wizard with the land of smiles program for 2 years, performed as the conductor with the Union station’s polar express train ride for 6 years, and currently serve as a performer with Mad science of St. louis.
